About Our Library / Search

Welcome to the Main Library Room and Family Library Room at the Jewish Community House

You are now able to link from this page directly to our online library catalog: Check it out

Over the past several years Mija Almeida, Ronni Zusman and Joan Swartz have worked to create an online library catalog of all the books and other resources in the Family Library Room.

Our next task is to add books from the Main Library Room to the online catalog as well.

New volunteers are always welcome. This is a job that can be done from your home, over the Internet. Please contact Mija at jewishtaunton@gmail.com to get involved.

Lauren Coelho and Lisa Bellardino work with Mija to staff the library during the religious school and to facilitate teacher and student use of our growing collection.

The Family Library Room not only has books for children and youth but also books for parents on all aspects of Judaism and rearing Jewish children.

Our Holocaust book collection is in the Family Library Room as well.

Donation from the past and hard work of today make this exciting endeavor possible.

The Family Library hours are
Thursdays 4:00 – 5:30 PM and Sundays 10:00 – 11:30 AM
You can also call Mija Almeida (508-880-3068) to schedule a visit.

Thank you to all those who have donated funds and books to the Rabbi Baruch Korff Libraries. Your support is greatly appreciated.
